About this lesson
In this module, we’re going to start suppressing the lessor know online data furnishers and specialty reporting agencies. This step significantly increases your chances that the reporting agencies not being able to verify your information during their investigation.

Welcome everyone to this particular module. The Online Data Suppression. So this module is really not going to be a long video module so to speak covering content. More so it’s going to be filled with you to take an action. So just below this video, you’re going to see a set of cheatsheets, and that set of cheatsheets is all of the online data suppressions that I want you to complete. The first one being the most important being LexisNexis. So just below the video of this module in resource section, it’s going to say resource cheat sheets specifically, you’ll see several different online data suppressions that you need to opt-out of. So it’s going to be, I want to say it’s one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. 10 different online data suppressions that you’re going to opt-out with starting with LexisNexis.
So what I want you to do is scroll down, click on the cheat sheet for LexisNexis suppression cheat sheet, and then just follow the steps. And then you’ll have this specific link on how to opt-out of LexisNexis. The thing you do want to make sure you do is you keep your confirmation numbers for each one of the file suppression. So general housekeeping, what I would do is just create some type of document and then on that document, I would just have all of the confirmation numbers for that suppression request. That way you could just document that information as it being done. So again, this is an action-oriented module. Do not skip ahead. Go ahead. Knock out these online suppressions. It shouldn’t take you any longer than 20 minutes, maybe 30 minutes tops, depend upon how many times you do the LexisNexis opt-out and just get it done. Follow each cheat sheet. It’ll walk you through it. If you have questions, there’s how to videos on how to do it. And it’s all outlined. Okay. So I will see you at the end of this module. Well not really, even at the end of this module, just complete all the action steps, and then once you’ve done it, complete mark complete, and I will see you in the offline suppressions module.
