5. Set Up A Fax Number

Hello and welcome to this module. Set up a fax number. So again, just like in the previous video, I was talking about having an 800 number. We wanted to set up a fax number. Now I know in 2021 and 2022, 2023, nobody really uses fax numbers anymore. But large corporations still have fax numbers and the banks and the credit bureaus are going to do reverse look-ups. So what we’re gonna do is set up a fax number, and it’s really, really simple. I’m going to show you really quickly where you can get a free fax, fax three bucks a month, or a fax for $9.95 per month. Okay. So even though faxes are completely like not even being used, it’s still used for corporate credit applications. And we want to put that on that application, that we have a fax number. Again, appearance sake.

So whether or not, anyone uses fax is, is not the point. Many lenders are going to do a reverse 411 lookup using the fax number to see if you’re legitimate, but most lenders would just check the fax number. So you can use a HelloFax, which is free as of right now. And you can receive five pages or more per month. You can use SRfax for $3 a month. And you can receive up to 25 pages, or you can use rapidfax for $9.95 per month. And I don’t really have, I don’t think it has a limit. Now I have personally have. I’ve had rapidfax for about 10 years at this point. I’ve had rapidfax since about 2011, like, and I just always kept the same fax number. And I’ve always used this as my business fax, because back in my earlier days, I used to sell a lot of insurance.

So I had to fax my applications and receive faxes. However, I still keep this fax to this day. In some rare scenarios, I receive a fax or I use fax, but I don’t use it. So anyway, moral of the story set up one of these fax numbers and keep it for the life of your company. And this is what we’re going to, this is what you’re going to have associated with your credit application. So get this knocked out fairly simple. So again, my place of choice is rapidfax. So it looks like efax is now the new one. I, I met with these people so long.
